The school had a very successful Walk to School week recently. Organised by our PTA, pupils assembled at Darcys scrapyard each morning for a supervised walk to school.
Traffic across the main Tattyreagh Road was managed safely with the assistance of Darcy Bros. and all pupils were provided with Hi-Vis vests, kindly sponsored by Terex.
It really was wonderful to witness such big numbers embrace the initiative and it created quite a spectacle as the sea of yellow emerged over the brow of the hill towards the school each morning.
To complete the healthy theme, pupils were then treated to some bottles of water and fruit, kindly donated by Asda.
Thankfully the weather also played its part to ensure a thoroughly enjoyable and successful project.
