Monday, 16th September 2019 Weekly Note

Our popular Credit Union savings scheme will resume on Thursday of this week. Anyone wishing to join the scheme can request an info sheet outlining the documentation necessary to do so.

We welcome along Vinny McCullagh who has taken over as Building Supervisor in a temporary capacity until the position is formally filled. Whilst welcoming Vinny, we also wish Ciaran (Harkin) the best of luck in his future endeavours.

A number of Safeguarding documents will accompany your eldest child tomorrow. Please take time to peruse these.  Other Safeguarding Documents can be accessed on our school website under the ‘Safeguarding’ tab.  We ask that parents return the signed documents referred to in your correspondence asap.  Thank you for your co-operation.

Parents of P.7 pupils planning to sit this year’s Transfer Test should ensure that their child is registered for the exam no later than this Friday, 20th September at 2.00pm.  Registration can be done at the local grammar school of your choice.

Tin whistle lessons begin in the school tomorrow for all pupils in P.3-P.7. We ask that you play your part by encouraging practice so as to maximise the benefit of these lessons.  All whistles should be clearly labelled with your child’s name on it.  Whistles can be bought in the school at a cost of £6.

Our Parents Support Group have managed to secure a fund-raising ‘Bag Pack’ slot in Asda on Saturday, 21st September.  Anyone who can spare an hour or two to assist, is asked to contact the school to organise a time slot.  Thank you in advance for your support.

A Paths Information Sheet will be attached onto this sheet, please take a moment to browse this information sheet as PATHS is now an integral part of our General Health & Well Being curriculum.
