A number of Safeguarding Policies are available on our school website ( under the ‘Safeguarding’ tab.  These policies are: Child Protection, Anti-Bullying, Positive Behaviour, Parental Complaints and Positive Behaviour.  Please take time to peruse these.  A summarised version of our Child Protection Policy will be issued to all parents this week along with a ‘hard copy’ of our Intimate Care Policy for pupils in P.1 and P.2.  Should any parents not have access to the internet and would prefer to avail of a ‘hard copy’, please feel free to let us know.

As mentioned previously, plans are afoot to provide a ‘wrap around care’ facility in the school. This care facility will be managed by Melanie O’Kane from Cornabracken Day Care.  An information meeting will be held in the school on Tuesday (25th Sept) at 8.00pm when Melanie will be present to explain the nature of her facility, how it is managed, pricing structures etc.  All interested individuals are warmly invited to attend.
