March 2011 Notes

ENVIRONMENTAL YOUTH SPEAK
Good luck to our 2 P.7 pupils Orla Devine and Caoimhe Cullinan who will represent the school at Omagh District Council’s Environmental Youthspeak Competition at Omagh Leisure Complex tomorrow morning. Both girls have been working hard on their presentations for the event which will begin at 10.00am.

IRISH CULTURAL DAY
The school will receive visitors from Foras na Gaelige on Thursday to enable the school the opportunity to showcase their promotion of their Irish Cultural Heritage. Our visitors will observe pupils speaking Irish in class , Irish poetry, Irish dancers and our Irish Traditional Group playing a selection of songs. Good luck to all involved in what should be a very enjoyable day.

FILM CLUB
Due to advent of the brighter evenings, Friday’s Film Club has now ended to this year. Provided funding continues, we will hopefully be in a position to offer this popular venture once again in the Autumn.

TATTYREAGH YOUGH & COMMUNITY GROUP
The AGM for TYCG is being held on Thursday, 24th March in the school at 9.00pm. All are welcome to attend.
