Today in Sacred Heart, we celebrated International Literacy Day 2026! A day that highlights the importance of literacy and recognises how reading, writing and communication helps to empower us and open up opportunities throughout life.
To mark the occasion, our P6 and P7 pupils joined our P1 and P2 children for shared story time outside, enjoying the opportunity to read, listen and learn together!
Our P3 children worked hard to create wonderful blurbs for their book covers, while our P4 and P5 pupils designed their own creative book covers.
