WELL DONE ERIN

Congratulations are extended to Erin McHugh who qualified to represent the school in the Tyrone heat of the Eason’s ‘Spelling Bee’ competition, which was hosted by our own school this morning. Although Erin failed to reach the National finals she acquitted herself extremely well in a tough and competitive field. Well done Erin!!

IRISH NEWS

A new Irish News ‘token’ event is now up and running with the prize of a trip to Croke Park on offer. Anyone who buys the Irish News is asked to donate these tokens to the school and hopefully we can repeat our good fortune of the previous such event!

FEIS ART ‘EXHIBITION’

Participants in this year’s Feis Art did some wonderful work with lots of prizes being awarded to our pupils. All our pupils’ work is currently on display in the school hall, so feel free to pop in after school to have a look at both your own child’s efforts, along with the other pieces on display.

FIRST TRUST ART COMPETITION

A big congratulations are extended to P.1’s Alesha Miller and P.2’s Natasha Armstrong, who were recent winners of the First Trust Bank’s Easter Art Competition. Both girls were at the bank on Friday afternoon to receive their prizes and have their photographs taken for the local press – Well Done Girls!!
