TRANSFER EXAM

Good luck to all our P.7 pupils who will sit their Grammar School Entrance Exams this Saturday morning.  All pupils will doubtless be somewhat nervous, but should be assured that they have worked very hard and can be proud of their efforts, irrespective of what grade February brings.  Good luck all!

PARENT/TEACHER MEETING

Next week we will be hosting our Parent/Teacher meetings after school (Mon-Thur).  We encourage all parents to phone the school and arrange a convenient time to discuss your child/children’s progress. Should next week prove unsuitable, feel free to contact the teacher(s) concerned to arrange a mutually convenient date.

DECEASED MEMBERS MASS

We have been asked to provide a choir at the Deceased Members Mass held in the GAA Club on Friday night at 7.30pm.  We ask that as many pupils as possible (P.4-7) are in attendance.  All present are asked to wear their school uniform.

‘DITCH THE DARK’ DAY

On Friday, we will be hosting our ‘Ditch the Dark’ day.  This is a day when we highlight the need for pupils and adults (particularly those who walk) to be seen in bright colours as the dark evenings close in.  Pupils are encouraged to wear bright/reflective items of clothing to school instead of their uniforms.  This could mean high visibility vests, reflector wrist-bands or stickers.  If you don’t have any of these items, a white tee-shirt or football jersey will suffice – the primary point of the exercise is simply to raise awareness.

If the weather allows it, older pupils are asked to try to walk a part of the way to school on Friday morning, but clearly this is very much weather dependant.

P.6 LIBRARY VISIT

P.6 pupils will travel to Omagh Library tomorrow morning for a look around the various facilities on offer.  Pupils will return before lunch time so no special arrangements need be made.

TATTYREAGH GAC YOUTH AWARDS

Tattyreagh GAC annual youth awards will be held on Wednesday night (11th Nov.) at 7.00pm.  Children are asked to be accompanied by an adult.  Please note the Tyrone county senior and minor players will be in attendance.

ART CLUB

Art Club for P.4/5 pupils is back as usual this Wednesday (3.15-4.15pm).

AFTER SCHOOL CLUB

We respectfully ask that any child staying for After School Club lets the class teacher know in advance of 2.15pm and that money is paid on day of attendance. Some of the youngest pupils are arriving and are unable to say whether they’re staying over or not – this would help clarify the situation for any pupils involved.
