Monday, 9th June 2014 Weekly Note

GAELIC BLITZES

This week is another busy one for our Gaelic footballers.  This morning our footballers are off to Beragh to play in the Paddy Bogan Cup with our girls participating in the Cumann na mBunscoil ‘sevens’ in Killyclogher tomorrow.  On Friday both boys and girls travel to Healy Park in Omagh to participate in the Holy Family Cup with the girls keen to retain the silverware they won last year!

P.4-P.7 SCHOOL TRIP

Mr Kelly and Mr McElholm’s classes are off to Lisburn on Thursday for their school trip.  The fun begins with a visit to the ‘infamous’ Leisureplex followed by a visit to the cinema in the afternoon.  Further details will be issued later in the week.  Cost for the trip is £13.

SCHOOL SPORTS

A date for our School Sports has yet to be finalised.  Given the hectic football schedule and uncertain weather, opportunities thus far have been very limited.  It is hoped that, weather permitting, Sports can be arranged next week.  When we get a clearer picture of the weather we will confirm this asap.

SCHOOL LEAVERS’ MASS

Just a little reminder that the annual ‘Leavers Mass’ will be celebrated in the school next Wednesday (18th June) by Fr. Joseph Gormley at 1.30pm.
