WELCOME BACK
We extend a warm welcome back to all our pupils after the Christmas break. We trust that Santa successfully made it to all homes in Tattyreagh and that the season was one of great joy for all families.
NEW ENROLMENT
Application forms for parents planning to enrol their child in P.1 next September are available in the school. Should you be aware of anyone with a child in this age group, please remind them that completed application forms need to be returned by this Wednesday, 11th January ’17.
FEIS
Entries are now being collected for this year’s West Tyrone Feis. Please fill in the attached sheet if you wish your child to participate and return to the school along with £2.50 per event by this Wednesday, 11th January. Entries will not be accepted after this date.
MILK
Milk will start again this Wednesday, 11th January with a cost of £7.00 per pupil up to Easter. Money should be sent in by Wednesday of this week.
AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS
After-school clubs recommence this week. The schedule is as follows (NB collection times for film club will be sent out via text message).

Thursday Film Club (P.5-P.7)
Please note there is a £5 fee for pupils taking part in the Drama/Dance classes.
P.1 – P.3 AFTER SCHOOL PROVISION
Just a little reminder that after-school supervision is available for pupils in P.1-P.3 from
2.15-3.15pm at a cost of £2 per day. (£1 for any additional child)
HEADLICE
Just a little reminder at the beginning of our new term to be vigilant as to the possibility of headlice in your child’s/children’s hair. Whilst there have been no recent incidences, it remains important to keep vigilant so as to keep any such cases to a minimum.
DINNER MONEY INCREASE
Please note that the price of a school dinner has increased by 5p with effect from last Thursday, 5th January. The price of a school dinner is now £2.55 daily. Parents are respectfully reminded to only send in money from Monday – Wednesday as office support is not available on Thursday and Friday.
CONFIRMATION TALK
There will be a Confirmation talk (16th January) for parents of P.7 pupils next Monday night at 8.00pm in St. Joseph’s Hall. Further details will be issued next week.
STRIKE ACTION – SCHOOL CLOSURE
Please note that due to strike action by INTO members the school will be forced to close next Wednesday morning, 18th January. Afternoon classes will resume as usual from 1.15pm.
SUPERVALU FOBS
Anyone who may need replacement fobs for the Supervalu Ipad for Schools Promotion can get them at any time by contacting the school office.
