CONGRATULATIONS LEONA

Congratulations are extended to P.7 pupil Leona Teague who recently won first prize in a Specsavers Road Safety Writing Competition.  Leona’s task was to write about why pupils in our school should win the prize of High Visibility Vests.  Her arguments obviously impressed the judges who awarded her first prize and a prize of high visibility vests for every pupil in the school.  Well done Leona!!

YOUTH COMMITTEE MEETING

There will be a meeting of the Tattyreagh GAC Youth Committee tonight at 9.00pm in the club.  Anyone who feels they could offer support or help in any way is encouraged to come along.

CHRISTMAS CRAFT FAYRE

Many thanks to all who supported yesterday’s Craft Fayre in any way.  A very enjoyable afternoon was had and much needed funds raised for the Parents’ Association.

A huge thank you to all members of our Parents’ Association for their help both in advance of, and on the day of, the Craft Fayre – a fantastic team effort all round.  Well Done All!

CHRISTMAS DINNER

Christmas Dinner is being served in the school this Friday, 13th December.  As there are usually very high numbers taking dinner that day, we ask that anyone not wishing to take dinner on Friday, please let their class teacher know.  As the dinners are ordered in advance it would be appreciated by the Catering Dept. to have as accurate a number for ordering as possible.

ENROLMENT FORMS

Application forms for pupils planning to enrol in next year’s P.1 class are now available in the school.  Anyone who is aware of prospective/possible pupils for our school are asked to ‘spread the word’ about the availability of these forms.

CHRISTMAS DRAW

It’s Christmas Draw time once again folks!  We are acutely aware of the difficult economic climate we are currently experiencing, nevertheless, we respectfully ask for your support via the purchasing of tickets or donation of prizes.  Thank you in advance for your support.

CONFESSION

Fr. McDevitt will visit the school on Thursday to hear the Confession of P.5-P.7 pupils in preparation for the Christmas season.

SANTA’S REINDEER FOOD

Santa’s Reindeer Food is being sold in the school for £1 per packet.  All proceeds from the sale of this food go to Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice.

SACRED HEART MESSENGER AND FAR EAST

Anyone wishing to subscribe to the Sacred Heart Messenger £13.80 and the Far East £8 for next year, please send money in to office by 11th December.
