TRANSFER

Congratulations are extended to all our P.7 pupils who received their Transfer results on Saturday.  All involved performed admirably and should be very proud of their achievements.  Well Done All!!!

SERVICE OF LIGHT

There will be a Service of Light for all Confirmation pupils tonight in the SacredHeartChurchat 7.30pm.  All pupils, parents and sponsors are warmly invited along.

DO THIS IN MEMORY MASS

The next ‘Do This In Memory Mass’ for pupils in P.4 will be celebrated in the Sacred HeartChurchthis Sunday (12^th Feb) at 12.30pm.

ARMAGH ROAD RACE

Good luck to the team of athletes who will participate in the Armagh Road Race on Thursday night.  Those children involved will be issued with details of times etc during the week.  This is always a highly competitive event but one which the children have traditionally enjoyed over the past number of years.

NO FILM CLUB

Due to the Armagh Road Race on Thursday evening, there will be no film club this week.

GIRLS FOOTBALL

Tattyreagh GAC are proposing to form girls football teams for the coming season.  A meeting is being held in Tattyreagh GAC on Thursday (9^th Feb) to try and ascertain interest.  All interested individuals are encouraged to attend.

MID-TERM

The school will be closed next week for our Mid-Term break.  The school will re-open as usual on Monday, 20^th February.

FAREWELL SHEILA

This week sees the end of an era for the school as we bid a fond farewell to Sheila, our long serving Kitchen Assistant.  Sheila has been a fixture in our kitchen for more years than she cares to remember, but has been oh so popular with the generations of pupils she has served over this period of time.

Sheila has now decided to ‘hang-up her oven gloves’ and take on the role of ‘doting grandmother’ instead.  We wish her every happiness in her retirement from our school community and trust she will bring with her many happy memories of Sacred Heart P.S.  Good luck Shiela!

(Given Sheila’s recent family loss it has been decided to defer a presentation on behalf of the school until later in the year.)
