WELCOME BACK MRS MELLON
We welcome back Mrs Mellon, who returns this morning, after her maternity leave. Doubtless all the pupils will make Mrs Mellon most welcome as she settles back to life in the classroom. We thank Mrs McHugh most sincerely for her hard work as Mrs Mellon’s substitute. Mrs McHugh will continue to work Fridays in the school to accommodate Mrs Mellon’s request for a shortened working week.
PARENTS’ ASSOCIATION QUIZ
The annual Parents’ Association fund-raising quiz will be held in the GAA Club on Friday night (9th Nov) at 9.00pm. This is a vital fundraiser for the Parents’ Association and we encourage as many as possible to come along for a good night’s craic.
CASH FOR CLOBBER
A little reminder that Friday is our ‘Cash for Clobber’ day when any unwanted clothes, shoes etc. can be handed into the school. All pupils have been already issued with a collection bag but more are available in the school if needed.
SHOEBOX APPEAL
The annual Christmas Shoebox Appeal always appears unnaturally early but this is to accommodate transport/delivery etc. to ensure delivery for the beneficiaries. We request that anyone donating a shoebox does so on or before next Tuesday, 13th November.
AFTER SCHOOL GAELIC COACHING
After-school Gaelic coaching for pupils in P.6/P.7 begins this Wednesday from 3.15-4.15pm. All participants MUST bring a change of clothing.
