WORLD BOOK DAY
This Thursday is annual World Book Day. In conjunction with this we have already had distinguished writer Colin Bateman visit the school last week. On Thursday, all pupils from P.1-P.7 are invited to mark the occasion by dressing up as their favourite book character. This is purely for fun and novelty value and no-one should go to any expense for this.
TECHNOLOGY CHALLENGE
A group of P.7 pupils are off to the Technology Centre on Wednesday to participate in the Technology Challenge. Good luck to those involved.
STEM PROJECT
The school has been invited to participate in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) project between now and Easter. Each class will be taking part in this programme on Wednesdays, so don’t be surprised to hear your child talking ‘Science’ over the coming weeks.
FUND-RAISING QUIZ
Parents are reminded that the Parents’ Association are holding a fund-raising quiz in the GAA Club this Friday night, 8th March. This is to help off-set costs of hiring the Strule Arts Centre for this year’s school production. All support will be greatly appreciated. The quiz begins at 9.00pm approx.
FILM CLUB ENDED
Due to the advent of brighter evenings, Film Club is now over for the year. Well done to all who participated.
