SCHOOL CHOIR
Thanks to all who attended yesterdays ‘Do This In Memory Mass’ in the
SacredHeartChurch. As always a great number of our pupils came along to represent the school in the choir and they added immensely to theMass. Thanks are extended once again to all our pupils and parents for their great support and co-operation.
FIRST COMMUNION/FIRST CONFESSION
The date for the First Holy Communion has now been fixed for Saturday, 12th May 2012 when our pupils will join those from All Saints P.S. in St. Mary’s Church, Drumragh at 12.00pm.
The arrangements for First Confession have been confirmed as Thursday, 15th March 2012 at 7.00pm, also in Drumragh.
Further details will obviously be given nearer the time.
PARENTS’ ASSOCIATION
A meeting of the Parents’ Association has been arranged in the school tonight at 8.00pm. Anyone who feels they would like to give of their time to assist the efforts of our Parents’ Association is warmly invited to attend tonight’s short meeting.
SCHOOL CLOSURE
As indicated on the Holidaylist, the school will be closed this Friday, 7th October for a Staff Development Day.
FUND-RAISING QUIZ
A quiz to raise funds for Prostrate Cancer will be held this Friday, 7th October in the GAA Club at 9.30pm. A team of 5 costs £10. All support welcome.
YOUTH CLUB
There will be a Youth Club meeting tonight at 9pm in the club. Anyone interested in helping to keep this successful club going is asked to come along to plan for the start of this year’s Youth Club. It is hoped to have the Youth Club starting again soon but it depends on parents and others to become involved.
