FOOTBALL SUCCESS

Heartiest congratulations are extended to our Girls Football Team, who were the inaugural winners of the Omagh St. Enda’s Primary Schools’ Tournament on Friday.  The girls showed great skill and determination in defeating schools from Gortnagarn, Tycur and Gaelscoil na gCrann before meeting more stubborn resistance from Holy Family P.S. and St. Conor’s P.S. in the semi-final and final respectively.  A fantastic achievement for such a young team, the majority of whom will still be wearing our school jersey next year.

The boys put in a fantastic effort too, before being pipped by St. Conor’s P.S. in the semi-final when all present were in agreement that lady luck wasn’t smiling on our boys that afternoon!

The girls’ team will participate in the Allianz Cumann na mBunscoil blitz on Thursday in Castlederg – so hopefully they will carry on their winning ways!
