CIRCLE OF LIFE
Tuesday and Wednesday night sees the long awaited production of ‘The Circle of Life’ in the Strule Arts Centre @ 8.00pm. All the pupils involved have put in a tremendous amount of hard work and we have no doubt will put on a fabulous evening’s entertainment. Today and tomorrow will see all P4-P7 pupils based at the Arts Centre as they put the finishing touches to the production.
Some tickets are still available and can be ordered online at www.struleartscentre.co.uk or by phoning the box office on 8224 7831.
P1 – P3 PERFORMANCE
Pupils in P1-P3 will be going into the Arts Centre tomorrow morning where they get an opportunity to watch the final dress rehearsal of the show. Whilst we aim to be back at school for lunch-time, experience tells us that very often this type of thing can run late and therefore a packed lunch might be advisable tomorrow. We ask for £1 donation towards tomorrow’s transport costs.
FAREWELL MARGARET
It was with a heavy heart that we accepted our wonderful and hard-working Building Supervisor, Margaret Sheridan’s resignation a few weeks ago. Margaret has just finished her 27th full year in the school and has decided that now is the time to ‘down tools’ and take life easy. So this Friday will see Margaret sweep the floors and close the doors for the final time. Needless to say, we will miss Margaret immensely and know that she will prove a very hard act to follow but nevertheless, wish her all the best for a long, healthy and happy retirement.
SCHOOL CLOSURE
Just a reminder that the school will be closed next week and will re-open on Monday, 9th May at the usual time.
