PARENT TEACHER MEETINGS
The annual Parent Teacher meetings will be held in the school this Friday, 28th October. Appointments can be made by phoning the school (tel. 8224 4614). Should this Friday prove unsuitable for any individuals, please contact the class teacher concerned when an alternative date can be organised.
HALLOWEEN FANCY DRESS
As has been the tradition in recent years, children are encouraged to bring fancy dress clothing to school on Thursday. Children should wear their normal clothing to school but will change at lunch time. Parents should not feel the need to go to any great expense for this, it is purely for fun and there will be no prizes on offer.
FILM CLUB
Film Club for P5/6/7 continues this Thursday after school. This week’s title has yet to arrive so further details will be issued by text message later in the week.
SCHOOL HOLIDAY
The school will be closed from Friday, 28th October – Wednesday 2nd November for the Halloween break. School will be re-open on Thursday, 3rd November at the usual time. We trust all pupils and their families have a safe and enjoyable Halloween break.
CHRISTMAS SHOE BOX APPEAL
Following the outstanding success of last year’s ‘Shoebox Appeal’ for children in the poorest countries of the world, it has been decided to run the venture again this year. Your child has received a leaflet outlining the programme and stating what types of items are suitable or unsuitable. The shoeboxes should be returned to the school by Monday, 14th November. Your support will be greatly appreciated.
