Monday, 24th June 2019 Weekly Note

THANK YOU MARY & ALISON

As the academic year draws to a close we wish to place on record our sincere gratitude to teachers Mary Teague and Alison Mullan who have both provided volunteer Maths support throughout the past year – a fantastic and very valuable support service. Thank you ladies.

DINNER MONEY

Anyone with outstanding dinner monies is asked to pay as soon as possible and no later than Thursday.

MUD RUN!!

The Parents’ Association have organised a ‘Mud Run’ tonight over at Dee Crowne’s base on Drumconnelly Road. This should be a great night’s craic and definitely not an occasion for the designer sports gear!! The run itself commences at 7.00pm with parking available at McGillins from 6.30pm. Cost is £5 per child or £10 per family and we hope to see you there! Thanks are extended to Dee Crowne and the McGillin family for their help in the running of tonight’s event.

WRAP AROUND CARE FORMS

A little reminder that ‘Wrap Around Care’ booking forms for the next academic year should be submitted no later than Thursday. Anyone who has misplaced their original form can get a duplicate on request. Our grateful thanks are extended to Melanie & Sinead for the excellent job they have done in providing this facility to our school.

SUPERSPELL

The finals of the Superspell competitions will be held on Wednesday afternoon – good luck to all involved.

P.7 FAREWELL BREAKFAST

Our P.7’s will have their ‘farewell breakfast’ on Thursday morning @ 9.15am.

TATTYREAGH’S GOT TALENT

Good luck to our student council and all the participants of the ‘Tattyreagh’s Got Talent’ event on Thursday. The student council have put in a lot of time and effort in organising Thursday’s event and deserve a lot of commendation for their effort. Good luck to all involved!

BICYCLES

Just a reminder to anyone who still has a bicycle at the school, to take it home before Friday when the school closes for summer, as these bikes cannot be stored indoors.

SCHOOL HOLIDAYS

The long awaited school holidays commence on Friday, 28th June at 12.00pm.
Please note there will be no school dinners available on this day.

We trust all our pupils and their families have a lovely summer break and we look forward to your safe return to school on Monday, 2nd September 2019.

To our departing P.7 pupils we wish you every success in your new schools and trust you will carry forward many happy memories of your days in Sacred Heart P.S. for the rest of your life. Good luck!
