LIBRARY UNIT
As part of our attempts to promote and improve reading throughout the school, pupils in P.4 and P.6 will participate in a series of visits to Omagh Library over the next three weeks. These visits begin today with P.4 pupils and tomorrow it’s the turn of the P.6 pupils. Hopefully the pupils involved will derive some enjoyment from these trips and join up for Library membership.
PARENTS INFORMATION SHEET
One outcome of our Parental Survey last May was for parents to be more aware of what actual topics their child/children were studying in class at any given period. As a result of this an information sheet will be in your child’s bag today, giving a brief summary of what your child is learning at the moment. Hopefully this will prove of use in terms of offering support at home.
LOST PROPERTY
As mentioned previously, a hefty quantity of lost clothing remains unclaimed from last year. If these items are not claimed by Friday, they will be donated to the local charity shops. On a similar theme, just a little reminder that all items of clothing should be marked clearly with names so as to enable lost/found items to be given to their owners quickly.
