SACRED HEART COLLEGE TASTER DAY
Pupils in P.7 are off to Sacred Heart College for a ‘taster’ day on Friday. This day has always proved very enjoyable in previous years and gives the P.7 pupils a taste of life in Sacred Heart College. Dinner will be provided for all pupils. Pupils should wear their uniforms as usual.
HEADLICE
An incidence of headlice has been reported in the school. Please be vigilant as to the presence of these unwanted visitors in your child/children’s hair.
DO THIS IN MEMORY MASS
The next ‘Do This in Memory’ Mass for P.4 pupils will be celebrated this Saturday night at 6.00pm in the Sacred Heart Church. The school has been asked to provide the choir at this Mass and therefore we appeal to as many pupils in P.5-P.7 to come along and lend your support. The Sacred Heart Church is a very large and imposing building so every voice is vital! Thank you in advance for your continued support.
BOARD OF GOVERNOR PARENT REP
Just a reminder that the deadline for nomination for Parental Representative in the newly re-constituted Board of Governors is this Friday, 25th January at 12.00pm. Should you require a new copy of the nomination form please contact the school.
PARENT COMPLAINTS POLICY
An updated Parental Complaints policy was ratified at our most recent Board of Governors meeting. This policy is available on the school website www.sacredheartprimary.com under the ‘Safeguarding’ tab but should you request a hard copy please contact the school.
CONFIRMATION MEETING
There will be a talk for parents and guardians of Year 7 children who are making their Confirmation this May. It will take place tonight Monday 21st January in the Sacred Heart Church at 8 pm. Children do not have to attend.
