SCHOOL TRIPS
Our school trips are taking place on Thursday. This is, of course, a reward for our pupils’ excellent behaviour throughout the year.
Our P.4-P.7 pupils are off to Lisburn for a session in the infamous waterpark followed by a visit to the cinema – the cost for this trip is £15.
Our P.1-P.3 pupils will visit the cinema in Omagh followed by a picnic in Lovers’ Retreat – the cost for this rip is £5. We ask that all trip monies be paid by Wednesday (22nd).
Further details about both trips will be issued later in the week.
PIANO LESSONS
Just a little reminder that anyone wishing to register an interest in possible piano lessons from September next should notify the school.
SCHOOL MASS & PRIZEGIVING
As mentioned previously, our P.7 Leavers’ Mass will be celebrated in the school next Monday (27th) at 1.30pm. Our annual prize-giving will be held that night at 7.30pm and all are warmly invited to attend.
MARGARET SHERIDAN RETIREMENT GIFT
Just a respectful reminder that anyone still planning to make a contribution towards Margaret’s retirement gift can still do so this week – as the presentation will be next week, this will be the final opportunity to do so. Many thanks to those who have so kindly donated thus far.
MONSIGNOR DONNELLY
There will be a special Mass in the Sacred Heart Church tonight at 6.30pm to mark Monsignor Donnelly’s 50th Anniversary in the priesthood, all are invited to attend. The school has participants in both the choir and the offertory procession. Afterwards there will be a special function in St. Joseph’s Hall at which each school have been requested to participate. We have asked for our senior pupils to attend (in their school uniform) to play a selection of tunes on the tin whistle and hope you can assist in ensuring your child’s attendance. Given the nature of the evening, it is impossible to estimate our finishing times but given that this part of the evening begins at 8.00pm, one would think the primary schools should be performing in the earlier stages of the event.
