Monday, 19th September 2011 Weekly Note

19th September 2011

All pupils were issued with consent forms last week in relation to the use of photographs, permission to attend trips etc.  It is vitally important that these forms be returned to the school a.s.a.p. to ensure all our records are up-to date and accurate.  Anyone who does not return the form will have been assumed to have refused permission for the items mentioned.

At the bottom of each sheet is a mobile number request.  This year the school has embarked on a text messaging service to parents to improve and enhance communications within our school community.  It is important therefore that an accurate mobile number is given and that the school is informed of any changes in mobile numbers in the future to ensure the success of this venture.

The beginning of school year Mass will be celebrated in the school hall next Friday 30th September at 1.30pm.  The Mass will be celebrated by our new chaplain Fr. McDevitt and all are most welcome to attend.

All P.7 parents should know that this Friday 23rd September is the final day for registration for the Grammar School entrance exams.
