WELCOME LAURA

We welcome along our past pupil, Laura Harkin who has joined us on a week’s work experience.  You are very welcome Laura – we hope you enjoy your stay.

MAMMA MIA DVD

A DVD of our Mamma Mia performance in the Strule Arts Centre is available for purchase at a cost of £8.  Anyone wishing to order a copy of this should send their money to the office on or before Wednesday.  Please note that no order can be accepted without the accompanying money.

TRIP

P.4-P.7 pupils will have their annual school trip on Friday.  This year we return to Lisburn Leisureplex for a session in the infamousWaterParkfollowed by a visit to the cinema.  Further details will be issued during the week.  Cost for the trip is £12.

P.4/P.5 CLASS

Please note that it has been confirmed that Mrs Teague has extended her career break for a period of one year and therefore will not be teaching in the school next year.  This one year position has been advertised and interviews for this post will be held during the month of July.

SHEILA MULLAN RETIREMENT GIFT

Many thanks to all who have contributed so generously towards Sheila’s retirement gift.  Anyone still wishing to do so must have their donation in the school this week as we plan to purchase the gift over this weekend.

SPORTS DAY

The weather forecast for tomorrow appears to be reasonable so we are planning to hold our Sports Day tomorrow.  Mrs Breen & Mrs Hugh’s class will begin around 10.00am with P.4-P.7 pupils beginning their events at 12.00pm approximately.  Children need not wear uniform tomorrow but should wear appropriate sporting attire.

DRAMA CANCELLED

Please note that due to Sports Day tomorrow, After School Drama has been cancelled.  The French Club has now finished for the year.  Any unpaid fees are asked to be returned to the office asap.

CUPS

Anyone in possession of Cups/Shields from last year’s Prizegiving Night is asked to return these to the school this week.

END OF YEAR MASS

The annual P.7 Leavers’ Mass will be celebrated by Fr McDevitt in the school on Wednesday afternoon at 1.30pm.  All are most welcome to attend.

GAA SUMMER CAMPS

Anyone interested in attending the Tyrone GAA Summer Camp is reminded to either return the form to the school or send their form directly to Tyrone GAA Office asap.  Please note there will be late registration fee of £5 per child for registrations received after 29th June.  If required forms can be downloaded from www.tyronegaa.ie
