CHRISTMAS PLAYS
As mentioned previously, the annual Christmas plays are taking place this week. The P.1-P.3 presentations will take place this afternoon at 1.30pm with the P.4-P.7 shows being held tomorrow night at 7.30pm. All are warmly invited to attend and show your support. To enable us to get everything in order for tomorrow night there will be a half-day tomorrow. We ask that arrangements be made to lift your child/children between 12.30 – 12.45pm when they will have finished their dinner. Many thanks to all who have bought tickets or donated prizes for the Christmas draw. The draw will take place tomorrow night after the school plays, when tea and mince pies will be served, courtesy of the Parents’ Association. Please note that Laurence and Collette McCann have kindly offered their driveway to ease with parking on the night of the show.
P.1 – P.3 TRIP
There will be a trip for P.1-P.3 to Santa’s Grotto on Wednesday morning. As pupils will be back in school for lunch time, no special arrangements need be made. We ask that a fee of £2 be submitted, to cover the cost of transport.
NO AFTER-SCHOOL CLUBS
Please note that there will be no After-School Clubs this week.
CAROL SERVICE
A group of pupils from P.5-P.7 have been asked to provide some carols and poems for the Senior Citizens Christmas Dinner on Thursday morning. The children selected are invited to bring their tin whistles (or other musical instruments).
SCHOOL HOLIDAYS
The school will close for our Christmas Holidays on Friday, 21st December at 12.00pm.
Please note that there will be no school dinners available on Friday. School will re-open on Monday, 7th January 2013 at the usual time. On behalf of the entire school community, I wish you all a very happy and peaceful Christmas season.
