CHRISTMAS PLAYS

As mentioned previously, the annual Christmas plays are taking place this week. The P.1-P.3 presentations will take place this afternoon at 1.30pm with the P.4-P.7 shows being held on Wednesday night at 7.30pm. All are warmly invited to attend and show your support. To enable us to get everything in order for the senior plays and Christmas draw, there will be a half day on Wednesday. We ask that arrangements be made to lift your child/children between 12.30-12.45pm when they will have finished their dinner.

Please note there will be no After School Provision for P.1-P.3 on Wednesday.

Many thanks to all who have bought tickets or donated prizes for the Christmas Draw. The draw will take place after Wednesday’s school plays, when tea and mince pies will be served, courtesy of the Parents’ Association.

CAROL SERVICE

A group of P.5-P.7 pupils have been asked to provide some carols and poems for the Senior Citizens Christmas Dinner on Thursday morning. All pupils selected are invited to bring their tin whistles.

NO AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS

Please note that there will be no After School Art or Drama this week.

DRUMRAGH PARISH DRAW

The school is once again acting as a promoter for the Drumragh Parish Draw next year. Anyone wishing to subscribe should contact the school before the holidays as the first draw takes place in early January.

SCHOOL HOLIDAYS

The school will close for our Christmas Holidays on Friday, 19th December at 12.00pm.

Please note that there will be no school dinners available on Friday.

School will re-open on Tuesday, 6th January 2014 at the usual time. On behalf of the entire school community, I wish you all a very happy and peaceful Christmas season and trust that Santa will pay a lengthy visit to Tattyreagh on Christmas morning.

SANTA’S GROTTO

Pupils from P.1-P.3 are off to visit Santa’s Grotto in Cooley Castles tomorrow morning, as a reward for their efforts in preparing so well for their Christmas Plays. This has always been a great trip in previous years, so the pupils can expect to have super fun tomorrow morning. Cost for the trip is £3, including transport.

DO THIS IN MEMORY MASS

The next P.4 ‘Do This In Memory’ Mass will be celebrated in the Sacred Heart Church on Sunday at 12.30pm.
