DO THIS IN MEMORY MASS
Many thanks to those pupils who came along and joined in our choir at yesterday’s 12.30pm Mass in Omagh. You sounded terrific and your support was much appreciated. Just a reminder that the next ‘Do This In Memory’ Mass for P.4 pupils is this Sunday (19th Oct.) at 12.30pm.
FIRST COMMUNION DATE
The date for our P.4’s First Communion Mass has been fixed for Saturday, 30th May 2015 at 12.30pm in St. Mary’s Church, Drumragh. We have yet to receive the date for Confirmation but will notify you as soon as we get this.
PARENTS’ ASSOCIATION
There will be a meeting of The Parents’ Association in the school on Wednesday (15th) at 8.00pm. The Parents’ Association are a highly valued support body for our school and, as always, we would appreciate any new members willing to come along and lend a hand.
SCHOOL TROPHIES
Any pupil in last year’s P.7 and P.4 classes who won an individual cup or shield is asked to return these to the school as soon as possible for display in our trophy cabinet.
CASH FOR CLOBBER
As mentioned last week, the school is holding a ‘Cash for Clobber’ day in the school on Thursday. Anyone in a position to donate old or unwanted clothes, shoes etc. is asked to hand them into the school on Thursday morning before the collection time of 10.30am. In the event of extra bags being required, an ordinary bin bag will suffice.
CHRISTMAS PLAYS
Just a couple of dates for the diary:
- The P.1-P.3 Christmas Plays for Mrs Breen and Miss Mimnagh’s classes will be held in the school hall on Monday, 15th December at 1.30pm.
- The P.4-P.7 plays for Mr Kelly and Mr McElholm’s classes will be held in the school hall on Wednesday, 17th December at 7.30pm. This will, of course, precede the annual Christmas Draw.
