CONGRATULATIONS P.7’S
Congratulations are extended to all our P.7 pupils who received the Sacrament of Confirmation on Saturday morning. A beautiful ceremony was administered by Bishop McKeown and all passed off very smoothly. Hopefully all our P.7 pupils had a very special day and we trust and pray that our pupils will use the Holy Spirit for guidance in the years ahead.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION
Good luck to all our P.4 pupils who will be making their First Holy Communion on Saturday in St. Mary’s Church, Drumragh at 12.30pm. All pupils have been preparing diligently for their big day, so hopefully the sun will shine and add to the enjoyment of the day. Pupils and their families are invited back to the school afterwards for light refreshments and the opportunity for family photographs. Exact arrangements for P.4 pupils (re. seating etc) will be issued later in the week. As always, we ask as many pupils (P.5 – P.7) to assist with the choir so as to add to the sense of occasion.
BOOK FAIR
The annual school Book Fair will be in the school this week with a variety of books and stationery available to buy. Please feel free to pop in before or after school for a browse.
PADDY BOGAN CUP
Good luck to our footballers who are off to Beragh on Friday to participate in the Paddy Bogan Cup. We trust they will make a good account of themselves.
WELCOME GIRLS
We welcome along 2 students (Sophie McCrory and Megan Loane) who have joined us on their work experience this week.
Hopefully you enjoy your few days girls!
WALK TO SCHOOL
Next week is Active Journeys Week and we encourage as many pupils as possible to try and make at least some part of their journey to school by foot, bike or scooter. The Parents’ Association will be organising a ‘meet up’ each morning to support this but further details will be issued during the week.
