WELCOME MISS MCGLONE
We extend a big welcome to Miss Gemma McGlone who has commenced teaching in P.4/P.5. Miss McGlone will be in P.4/P.5 until the summer. This is because Mrs Teague has requested a career break to care for her elderly mother who has increasing health issues. We ask that you keep Mrs Teague and her mother in your prayers but welcome Miss McGlone on board and trust that she will enjoy her time with us at Sacred Heart P.S.
FIRST CONFESSION
This week is a big week in the sacramental lives of our P.4 pupils as they make their First Confession. Our pupils will join those from All Saints P.S. on Thursday night at 7.00pm in Drumragh Chapel. All pupils have been preparing diligently for this and we trust that Thursday evening will prove a pleasant experience for all.
FILM CLUB
Owing to the pressures of time with First Confession, there will be no Film Club this Thursday.
CEILIDH
Pupils in P.4-P.7 are off to a Ceilidh on Wednesday morning to mark St. Patrick’s Day. Pupils have been working on their ceilidh dancing skills for a number of weeks and hopefully will enjoy the occasion at the Strule Arts Centre.
ST. PATRICK’S DAY BREAK
The school will be closed on Friday, 16th and Monday, 19th March for our St. Patrick’s Day break. School resumes on Tuesday, 20th March at the usual time.
