FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT
Good luck to our footballers who compete in their final 2 events of the year this week. This morning they travel to Dromore for the Cumann na mBunscoil competition while on Thursday we host the annual Fiona Armstrong Memorial Shield at the
Tattyreagh Club. All support is most welcome for Thursday’s event which commences at 10.30am.
P.7 CONFIRMATION RETREAT
P.7 pupils are off to the Pastoral Centre tomorrow morning for a Post Confirmation retreat. As pupils will be back before lunch, no special arrangements need be made.
P.1-P.3 SCHOOL TRIP
Pupils in Mrs Breen’s and Mrs McHugh’s classes are off on their school trip on Wednesday when they travel to Barrontop Open Farm. Full details about this trip will be issued on a separate note. Price for the trip (including significant transport costs) is £7.
PRIZE-GIVING CUPS
Any winner of cups or shields in last year’s prize-giving night is asked to ensure they are engraved and returned to the school as soon as possible. A date for our prize-giving has yet to be arranged as we struggle to get a dry day with no other event pre-booked, to run our own sports.
SCHOOL MASS
As mentioned previously, the end of year Mass has been arranged for Wednesday, 20th June @ 1.30pm.
UNIFORM
Any parent planning to purchase items of uniform for next year should note that embroidered school sweaters can now also be purchased via Tesco online. An information sheet is enclosed for any interested party, who should note that our school is found under the generalBELFASTlocation! All items of uniform can still be purchased locally at Select.
FRENCH/DRAMA
Anyone still to pay the outstanding fee of £5 for Drama and/or French is reminded to do so asap.
SHEILA MULLAN
As you will be aware our long serving Kitchen Attendant, Sheila Mullan retired after almost 15 years loyal service. It is planned to make a presentation to Sheila at our prize-giving to mark her huge contribution to life in the school during this time. Anyone who would like to make a donation to this gift is, naturally, encouraged to do so. We ask that any donations be made as soon as possible in order that arrangements be made for a suitable purchase. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
