SCHOOL TRIP TIME

The school will be somewhat quieter over the next few days with a few school trips pencilled in.  Mrs Breen’s and Mrs Mellon’s classes are off to Irvinestown today for a day of fun at Johnny Rocco’s, while Mr Kelly’s class are off to Derry on Thursday for a session of bowling and indoor soft play.

Next week (Wed-Fri) the P.6/P.7 pupils complete a 3 day residential in Todd’s Leap near Ballygawley, when an action packed few days is guaranteed.  Pupils are asked to clear any outstanding balance for the trip this week.

DATES FOR THE DIARY

A few dates of note to keep free –

The End of Year/Leavers’ Mass will be celebrated in the school on Wednesday, 26th June at 1.30pm.

The annual Prize-Giving night will be held in the school on Monday, 17th June at 7.30pm.

TROPHIES

Anyone in possession of trophies from last year’s prize-giving is asked to return these to the school a.s.a.p. to allow next Monday’s prize-giving to run as smoothly as possible.

FOOTBALL

Commiserations to our footballers who were beaten in the final of the Paddy Bogan Cup in Beragh on Friday last.  All involved played their hearts out in the sweltering conditions and, given the exertions of Sports Day on Thursday, had nothing left to give in the final itself, but nevertheless a fine performance all round.

The footballers get a chance to redeem themselves in the Allianz Cumann na mBunscoil blitz in Dromore tomorrow morning when more temperate conditions are forecast.
