Monday, 10th April 2017 Weekly Note

Pupils in P.1-P.3 are participating in a ‘Healthy Families’ shared physical literacy session tomorrow morning (Tues. 11th April) from 9.30 – 11.00am.  All parents and/or grandparents are warmly invited to attend this fun session which will see participation in simple throwing, catching, jumping activities etc.

Pupils from P.4 – P.7 are off to the Strule Arts Centre tomorrow to watch Drumlish P.S. production of ‘Mowgli’s Tale’.  The cost per pupil is £3 to cover admission and transport.  Given that the production is expected to run over our dinner time pupils are advised to take a packed lunch to school.

The school will close Thursday (13th April) at 12.00pm for our Easter Holidays.  Please note that there will be no school dinners available on this day.  School will re-open after the holidays on Monday, 24th April at the usual time.

We welcome along our past pupil Ciarán Mullin who has come to the school on work experience from Omagh CBS.  Ciarán will be based in Mr McElholm’s class for the next few days.  We hope you enjoy your stay Ciarán.

There will be a special breakfast held on Thursday morning.  It would be helpful if anyone planning to attend could tell their class teacher by Wednesday morning so that we have an idea of numbers. Cost £1.

There will be a special Easter Dinner Menu available on Wednesday.  There will also be an Easter Raffle on Wednesday at dinner time.

As mentioned previously, all pupils P.2 – P.7 will be participating in a ‘Sponsored Spell’ on Wednesday.  P.1’s meanwhile will be participating in a ‘Sponsored Sing-along’.  All proceeds from this fundraiser will go to Trócaire.
