SVP PYJAMA DAY
Many thanks to all who donated so generously to our SVP fundraiser last week – a wonderful total of £208 was raised. This week we plan to continue our SVP work by collecting non-perishable foods to make up a Christmas Hamper or two. Donations of tinned foods, tea-bags, coffee, porridge, biscuits, crackers etc would be greatly appreciated by our P.7’s who have undertaken this task.
CROSS-COUNTRY
Good luck to all our cross-country participants who are off to Dungannon on Wednesday for Round 2 of the Flahavan’s Cross-Country Championships. Hopefully our pupils can perform to a similarly high standard as that of Round 1.
SPOONFUL OF SUGAR
Pupils from P.3 – P.7 are off to St. Joseph’s Hall on Friday afternoon to see Omagh St. Enda’s production of ‘A Spoonful of Sugar’. Cost for this outing is £3 including transport.
WELL DONE FOOTBALLERS
Our footballers acquitted themselves very well at St. Conor’s P.S. Indoor Gaelic Blitz on Thursday last before bowing out at the semi-final stage.
Spare a thought for our goalkeeper Finbar Darcy who sustained a broken thumb in our first match and had to visit the hospital while his team-mates battled on gamely in his absence. We hope you make a speedy recovery Finbar!
