ACTIVE JOURNEYS
This is Active Journeys week when pupils are encouraged to walk/cycle at least part of their way to school. Members of our Parents’ Association are meeting at Darcy’s Scrapyard every morning at 8.40am to lead an organised group. All support welcome.
CONGRATULATIONS P.4
Big congratulations are extended to all our P.4 pupils who made their 1st Holy Communion on Saturday. All pupils contributed magnificently to the Mass itself and evidently prepared diligently for their day. Hopefully they all had a day which will remain long in their memory. Well done all!
Many thanks also to all those who made up the choir for the 1st Communion Mass. It is indeed very gratifying to know that the school community will rally together on such an occasion to ensure the event is so special. On a similar theme, thanks to the members of the Parents’ Association for their splendid efforts in providing refreshments afterwards back in the school – it really was very much appreciated.
P.6/P.7 LOVE FOR LIFE WORKSHOP
Pupils in P.6/7 are off to Seskinore tomorrow for a workshop and presentation from ‘Love is for Life’ when the theme of ‘growing up’ will be addressed. Please note all pupils attending MUST have returned their consent form. A packed lunch is required for this event.
