PLEDGE MASS

The Pledge Mass of Commitment to Abstinence and Moderation will be celebrated in the Sacred Heart Church tonight at 7.30pm. All P.7 pupils are invited to attend along with their parents and sponsors.

P.1/P.2 SHARED EDUCATION SPORTS PROGRAMME

Pupils in P.1/P.2 will join our Shared Education partners from Denamona P.S and St. Lawrence’s P.S. in a series of 4 Physical Literacy classes over the coming month. The first class is tomorrow morning in the Ecclesville Centre. Pupils should wear their P.E. gear into school and then change into their uniform upon their return. As pupils will return to school before lunchtime, no additional arrangements need be made.

HEADLICE

An incidence of headlice has been reported in the school. Please be vigilant as to the presence of these unwanted visitors in your child/children’s hair.

PARENTS’ ASSOCIATION

There will be a meeting of the Parents’ Association in the school tomorrow night (Tue) at 7.30pm. All new members will be made most welcome.

WORLD BOOK DAY

This Thursday is World Book Day. To mark this event, all pupils throughout the school are invited to come to school dressed as their favourite book character. Please note that parents are asked not to go to any expense for this. It is purely for a bit of fun to promote reading as an enjoyable pastime.

WELL DONE GIRLS

Well done to our P.7 girls who won their heat of the Allianz Cumann na mBunscoil Indoor Gaelic Competition last Friday. The girls will now participate in the Tyrone finals in Cookstown on 13th March. Well done girls.

On a similar theme, congratulations to Keogan Mullan and Aoibheann Mitchell who participated in the half-time exhibition game during the Tyrone V Cavan match on Saturday night. Both girls loved playing in front of the big crowd – well done girls!
