Monday, 9th April 2018 Weekly Note
WELCOME BACK ALL
A big welcome back is extended to all our pupils after the Easter break. We trust that all had a pleasant break in spite of the poor weather and are suitably refreshed for our final term.
NAME MARKINGS
With the new term having just commenced, we respectfully remind all parents to ensure that items of uniform are re-marked with your child’s/childrens name. Hopefully the summer term will bring warmer weather and so the greater likelihood of children removing garments; it would help greatly with the smooth running of the school if name markings could be re-applied clearly for identification purposes.
MILK
Milk will start again this Wednesday with a cost of £6.50 to end of term. Money should be sent in by Wednesday.
DANCING SUCCESS
A huge well done is extended to all our Irish Dancers who participated in the ‘Worlds’ in Dublin just before Easter. All of our pupils acquitted themselves very well with a number of very notable individual and team achievements. Well done all.
WELL DONE SORCHA & CALLUM
Congratulations are extended to 2 of our past pupils who brought great credit to themselves and their families in recent weeks. Sorcha Mullan, who was recently selected to run for the Irish schools team, continued her great form with a 1st female finish in the Omagh 5K on Saturday morning. Callum McGillin meanwhile was back in Dublin where he successfully retained his
All Ireland Boxing Championship. Fantastic work folks!!
PRIMARY MATHS CHALLENGE
Well done to our team of Eoghan McGrath, Carol McKnight, Ronan Darcy and Dylan Downey who finished runners-up in the Primary Maths Challenge held in Sacred Heart College just before Easter. A great performance by all!!
