APPLICATION FORMS

Application forms for any pupils wishing to enrol in next year’s P.1 class will be available in the school from Wednesday. Should you be aware of any prospective new parents, please let them know that these forms are available. Whilst our school numbers are healthy, and school budgets are based on enrolment numbers, the fact remains that significant cuts have been imposed over recent years and therefore it is imperative that we attract all our ‘natural’ intake; we ask you to spread the word and if possible, promote the school to any friends/family members.
The school is having an Open Day on Wednesday, 6th December at 2.30pm.

PETER PAN

Pupils in P.4 – P.7 are off to St. Joseph’s Hall on Friday morning for St. Enda’s GAC’s pantomime ‘Peter Pan’. This should prove great entertainment for everyone if previous productions are anything to go on. The bus will leave the school at 9.30am sharp so it is important to arrive to school in good time. Cost for the outing is £5.

PARISH DRAW

The school is once again acting as a promoter for next year’s Parish Draw. Anyone wishing to subscribe should contact the school. Cost for the draw is £60 per year.

WELL DONE EOGHAN

Well done to Eoghan McGrath who represented the school at a function to mark the
50th anniversary of Fintona Credit Union on Friday night. Apart from reading a poem, Eoghan also played his guitar and sang along with considerable aplomb. Well done Eoghan.

TATTYREAGH GAC YOUTH PRESENTATION

Tattyreagh GAC Youth Presentation is in the clubrooms on Wednesday (29th Nov) at 7.00pm. This is an opportunity to recognise the dedication of our younger footballers in this very special centenary year. All players, boys and girls from Under 6 to Under 16 (& their parents) are very welcome. Players are asked to wear club colours if possible.

HOMELESS AID

The school has been asked to participate in a venture to assist the homeless in our society. We are asking for garments that can be donated to assist those sleeping rough – we are appealing for coats, warm jumpers, hats, gloves, scarves, sleeping bags etc. This is not a ‘cash for clobber’ type venture where any old garments are requested, this is an appeal for appropriate winter type donations. Any such donations will be gratefully received on or before this Friday, 1st December. Thank you for your support.
