CONGRATULATIONS P.4

A big congratulations is extended to all our P.4 pupils who made their 1st Holy Communion on Saturday.  All pupils contributed magnificently to the Mass itself and evidently prepared diligently for their big day.  Hopefully they all had a day which will remain long in their memory.  Well done all!

Many thanks also to all those who made up the choir for the 1st Communion Mass.  It is indeed very gratifying to know that the school community will rally together on such an occasion to ensure the event is so special.  On a similar theme, thanks to the members of the Parents’ Association for their splendid efforts in providing refreshments afterwards back in the school – it really was very much appreciated.

STUART REID VISIT

Tomorrow is a day to look forward to when well known children’s author Stuart Reid visits the school.  Stuart will put on a presentation for all our pupils to help inspire and motivate our pupils and having read his C.V. it should certainly prove very entertaining!

BERAGH TOURNAMENT

Good luck to our footballers who are off to participate in the Paddy Bogan Cup on Friday.  Please note that in light of the current fine weather, sun protection is advised.  Also a packed lunch is required for all participants.

P.6/P.7 GOLF COACHING

A 3 week golf coaching programme for pupils in P.6/7 will commence in school tomorrow.  The programme organised by Omagh Golf Club will be delivered by PGA Professional Michael McGeady over the next 3 Thursdays.  (Again, sun protection is advised tomorrow)

50TH ANNIVERSARY NIGHT

A night of celebration and nostalgia to celebrate the school’s 50th anniversary has been arranged for Friday, 10th June.  The evening will begin with Mass in Drumragh Chapel at 7.00pm followed by light refreshments back in the school afterwards.  Please help spread the word to any past pupils/individuals associated with the school who might be interested.

TATTYREAGH 5 MILE RACE/5 KM FUN RUN

Just a wee reminder of the annual run on Friday night.  Anyone still hoping to participate can get an application form in the school.  The run begins at 7.00pm.

MARGARET SHERIDAN

Our long standing school caretaker of ’27 years’, Margaret Sheridan has stepped down from her post of caretaker in the school.  Anyone who wishes to make a donation towards a farewell gift for Margaret which will be presented on Prize-Giving night, can do so by sending it in to the school office.  We thank you in advance for your generosity.

SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHS

The school photographs have been issued today.  We ask that all orders are returned to the school no later than next Tuesday, 7th June.
