CIRCLE OF LIFE

Rehearsals are now in full swing for our forthcoming production of ‘Circle of Life’ (Tue. 26th & Wed. 27th April) and we appreciate everyone’s co-operation in assisting with after-school arrangements etc.  A separate sheet will be issued later in the week outlining the schedule for the next few days.

Tickets for the show have been selling nicely already; we advise people to buy tickets early before they are advertised to the wider public later in the week.  Tickets can be purchased online at www.struleartscentre.co.uk or on 8224 7831.  The children are looking forward to the show immensely, so please come along and show your support.

BIG PEDAL EVENT

The ‘Big Pedal’ event organised by Sustrans to help promote active journeys to school is being held over the next 2 weeks.  To summarise, the idea is to promote children to either cycle or scoot to school.  To add a competitive aspect to the event we will be competing on a percentage basis against other schools both locally and nationally when each school’s best 5 days are calculated.  Please note that even a part journey via bike or scooter will count as an active journey.  Good luck to all.

BOOK FAYRE

To add to the busy school week, we are hosting our annual book fayre this week.  Please feel free to pop in and view the many books/items of stationery on offer.  The book fayre will be open for your perusal before and after school.
