PAIRED READING PROGRAMME

We say a big ‘Well Done’ to all our pupils in P4/5 who have just finished their ‘Paired Reading Programme’.  Thanks to all our parents for their time and effort in making the programme the success it was.  A formal ‘wrapping up’ presentation will be held after the Easter holidays.

PRIMARY MATHS CHALLENGE

Good luck to our 4 pupils who are off to Sacred Heart College tomorrow morning to participate in their annual ‘Primary Maths Challenge’.  Our pupils have finished runners-up in this challenge over the last 2 years, so hopefully our representatives tomorrow can take that one step further…No pressure folks!!

100% CLUB

Our 100% club competition running in tandem with the Paired Reading Programme has now ended.  We had a fantastic response with a grand total of 175 pupils managing to get their name ‘on the wall’ during the 6 week programme.  The winners of this competition will be announced later this week.

EASTER HOLIDAYS

The school will close on Thursday (24th March) at 12.00pm for our Easter Holidays.  Please note that there will be no school dinners available on this day.   School will re-open after the holidays on Monday, 4th April at the usual time.

FAREWELL MISS MIMNAGH AND MR MEYLER

This week sees the conclusion of Miss Mimnagh’s and Mr Meyler’s time here on Teaching Practice.  We trust you both had an enjoyable stay and wish you well for your future in teaching.
