SUSTRANS/ACTIVE SCHOOLS POLICY
Ms Anne-Marie Cox from Sustrans will be speaking at Assembly on Friday in relation to the ‘Active Schools Programme’ which we have been selected to participate in this year, please see attached correspondence for further details.
SCHOOL MASS
Just a little reminder about our Beginning of School Year Mass which will be celebrated by Fr McGirr next Wednesday, 7th October in the school hall at 1.30pm. All are welcome.
DATES FOR THE DIARY
Our annual Christmas plays have been arranged in good time so as to assist with ‘work leave’ etc.
P.1-P.3 plays (Mrs Breen & Mrs Mellon’s Classes)
Monday, 14th December at 1.30pm
P.4-P.7 plays (Mr Kelly & Mr McElholm’s Classes)
Wednesday, 16th December at 7.30pm
HEADLICE
Just a reminder at the start of the school year to be vigilant as to the presence of headlice in your children’s hair. Any such incidence should be reported to the school as early as possible so as to help prevent any possible spread.
