DO THIS IN MEMORY PROGRAMME

A meeting has been organised for parents of P.4 pupils to outline the ‘Do This In Memory’ programme.  This meeting is tonight 21st September at 8.15pm in St. Joseph’s Hall when the programme, which prepares children for their 1st Holy Communion, will be explained to all.  Please note that pupils do not need to attend.

AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS

A selection of after school clubs begin once again this week for pupils in the senior end of the school.

Monday offers Gaelic coaching for pupils in P6/P7 from 3.15-4.15pm.

Tuesday offers Drama/Dance with tutor, Christopher Cross. This is available for pupils from P4/P7, but a cost of £5 is required to help cover our expenses.  Please note that Drama now runs until 4.15pm.

Wednesday after school is our Art Club. As with last year this alternates every half-term with P6/P7 pupils invited to participate from now till Halloween.  Again Art Club ends at 4.15pm.

Please note that all participants in after-school activities are expected to behave appropriately and any pupils unable or unwilling to do so, will have the offer of after-school clubs withdrawn.

TRANSFER DEADLINE

Just a final reminder for parents of P.7 pupils that this Friday, 25th September at 2.00pm is the deadline for registering your child for participation in this year’s Transfer Examination.  All registrations should go directly to the grammar school involved

SCHOOL MASS

Our annual Beginning of School Year Mass will be celebrated by our school chaplin

Fr. McGirr in the school hall on Wednesday, 7th October at 1.30pm.  All are welcome to attend.

WATERBUS

Pupils in P.6/7 will have a visitor to the school tomorrow in the shape of the N.I. Water’s ‘Waterbus’.  This should prove both educational and enjoyable for all the pupils involved.

TATTYREAGH YOUTH CLUB

The Youth Club was due to begin  last Friday 18th September, but cancelled as a mark of respect to Eamon Gormley R.I.P.  It begins this Friday, 25th September in the Club.

Junior Youth Club is from 6.30 – 8.00pm (for P.4-P.7)

Senior Youth Club is from 8.00 – 9.30pm (for all young people Year 8 upwards)

Parents must complete registration for all children this Friday.  Cost is £5 per child and Youth Club is £1.00 each week.  Trips and events will be planned with children this Friday.
