Monday, 13th April 2015 Weekly Note

WELCOME BACK ALL

A big welcome back is extended to all our pupils after the Easter break. We trust that all made the most of the lovely weather and are suitably refreshed for our final term.

NAME MARKINGS

With the new term having just commenced, we respectfully remind all parents to ensure that items of uniform are re-marked with your child’s/children’s name. Hopefully the summer term will bring warmer weather and so the greater likelihood of children removing garments; it would help greatly with the smooth running of the school if name markings could be re-applied clearly for identification purposes.

MATHS CHALLENGE

Congratulations to our 4 mathematicians (Conal Devlin, Hannah Bradley, Keelan Campbell & Conor Mullin) who represented the school in the ‘Maths Team Challenge’ hosted by Sacred Heart College just before the holidays. Our pupils finished runners-up in a field of 13 schools – a fine achievement indeed. Well done all!

MILK

Milk will start again this Wednesday with a cost of £6 to end of term. Money should be sent in by Wednesday.

DINNER MENU

Attached is a copy of the new school dinner menu beginning this week.

Cheques for school dinners should be made payable to WELB.

FEIS

The West Tyrone Feis commences this week and all participants will have received a timetable before the break. Good luck to all involved. Please note that we will do all we can to assist with transport arrangements for Feis events, but ultimately it is the parents’ responsibility to ensure attendance.

DO THIS IN MEMORY MASS

The next ‘Do This In Memory Mass’ for P.4 pupils will be celebrated in the Sacred Heart Church this Sunday at 12.30pm.
