IRISH NEWS TOKENS
The school had great news last week as we were one of the successful schools in The Irish News Coaching Day Competition. Many thanks to all who contributed to our appeal as we really did have a phenomenal response. The pupils can look forward to a coaching day with the experts in the summer term.
TROCAIRE PYJAMA DAY
Many thanks to our student council for organising Friday’s Pyjama Day. A superb total of £277 was raised for Trocaire.
SACRED HEART COLLEGE MATHS CHALLENGE
Good luck to our 4 participants who will represent the school in Sacred Heart College’s Maths Challenge tomorrow. The pupils involved are recommended to bring a packed lunch.
FEIS
All pupils are reminded to keep learning and practising their poems as the Feis commences very quickly after the Easter break. A reminder that the Irish poems are available to listen to (or download) under the ‘Feis’ tab on the school website. The Feis timetable for each event is printed overleaf, tin whistle participants will be notified of date/time when it becomes available.
FIRST CONFESSION
P.4 pupils and parents are asked to note the re-arranged date for First Confession. This date has been re-arranged for Tuesday, 21st April at 2.00pm in the school hall. Obviously we hope that at least one parent for each child will be able to attend.
EASTER HOLIDAYS
The Easter holidays commence with a half-day on Thursday, 2nd April at 12.00pm.Please note there will be no dinner available on Thursday. We hope all have a very pleasant and enjoyable Easter break and look forward to your safe return on Monday, 13th April 2015.
