Monday, 8th September 2014 Weekly Note
AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS
The selection of after-school activities is currently being finalised. These activities will commence next week – next week’s note will give an outline of activities, days and time.
Also a little reminder for parents of KS1 pupils (P.1-P.3) that after school provision is now available (2.15-3.15pm) at a cost of £2 daily. (Please note that the cost is reduced to £1 for any additional child in a family.)
TIN WHISTLE
Tin whistle for all pupils P.3-P.7 begins tomorrow (Tuesday). We ask that parents play their part by encouraging their children to practise regularly and bring their whistles to school on Tuesdays. In recent years an increasing number of pupils have been entered for traditional music exams with great success, so there are plenty of opportunities to achieve.
TRANSFER PROCEDURE
Any P.7 parent planning to get their child to sit the 2014 Transfer Exam for admission to Grammar School is reminded that registration closes on Friday, 26th September.
CREDIT UNION
The popular Credit Union savings scheme will resume in the school this Thursday. Anyone wishing to join up can get an application form in the school.
CONSENT FORMS
Consent forms were issued last week in relation to various aspects of Child Protection. We ask that these be completed and returned to the school as soon as possible.
CONGRATS TO THE TATS!
Hearty congratulations to our past pupils and all involved in Tattyreagh’s Reserve Championship success yesterday – a proud day for all involved in our club and hopefully the shape of things to come! On a similar note, well done to our pupils involved in the Under 10 success on Saturday – beating local rivals Drumragh and Eskra(!!) en route to glory.
