AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS

A selection of after school clubs begin once again this week for pupils in the senior end of the school.

  • Monday offers Gaelic coaching for pupils in P6/P7 from 3.15-4.15pm
  • Tuesday offers Drama/Dance with our new tutor Christopher Cross. This is available for pupils from P4/P7, but a cost of £5 is required to help cover our expenses. Please note that Drama now runs until 4.15pm
  • Wednesday after school is our Art Club. As with last year this alternates every half-term with P6/P7 pupils invited to participate from now till Halloween. Again Art Club ends at 4.15pm.

Please note that all participants in after-school activities are expected to behave appropriately and any pupils unable or unwilling to do so, will have the offer of after-school clubs withdrawn.

HONK

Pupils in P6/P7 are off to the Strule Arts Centre on Wednesday morning to see Loreto Grammar School’s production of ‘Honk’. The cost for the show is £2. Please note that while it is anticipated to be back for dinner time, experience tells us that this is very often not the case and therefore it may be advisable to bring a packed lunch.

FREE SCHOOL MEALS

Just a reminder that assistance may be available for free school meals/uniform via the WELB Free School Meals Dept. (tel. 8241 1496). The rules for this have changed significantly in recent years, so any family who have been denied support in the past, may now, in fact, be eligible for support.

CONSENT FORMS

Any family yet to return consent forms relating to Intimate Care (P1/P2), Permission Slips (P1 only) and E-Safety (P4/P7) is respectfully reminded to do so this week.
