FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT

Our school football team have a busy schedule this week as they will be participating in 2 tournaments.  Tomorrow they travel to Dromore where they will take part in the Allianz Cumann na mBusncoil Blitz, while on Friday Tattyreagh GAC will be the venue for the annual Fiona Armstrong Memorial Shield competition.  Friday’s tournament commences at 10.30am and all home support will be most welcome!

P1 – P3 SCHOOL TRIP

The P1-P3 pupils are off on their school trip on Wednesday.  This year our junior pupils are off to Grant’s Ancestral Home in Dungannon for ‘Big Ted’s Party’ featuring entertainer Tom Sweeney.  Price for the 1st child in a family is £5 with any additional child £1.  Specific arrangements will be issued to the P1-P3 pupils tomorrow.  The P4-P7 trip has been organised for next Thursday (12th June) but further details will be issued next week.

‘FAN THE FLAME’ MASS

The P.7 Confirmation pupils travel to Derry on Thursday for an outdoor Mass in Celtic Park Gaelic Grounds.  This always proves to be a very spiritual but novel ceremony and one which children in the past have enjoyed thoroughly.  All children will need a packed lunch and, in light of the unsettled forecast, should bring a coat/fleece.  Children will return to school before the normal home-time.

‘JOSEPH’

While the P.7’s are travelling to Derry our P.6 pupils have been invited along to watch St. Conor’s P.S. perform the hit musical ‘Joseph’ in St. Joseph’s Hall.  Always a highly entertaining and enjoyable show, this is a production our children should thoroughly enjoy.  Cost for admission is £3.
