ACTION CANCER ‘HEALTH ACTION’ PROGRAMME

Pupils from P.4-P.7 will participate in an Action Cancer organised ‘Health Action’ programme this morning with a follow-up session on Wednesday, 21st May.  This programme will promote all aspects of a healthy lifestyle and should prove both entertaining and educational.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION

Good luck to all our P.4 pupils who will be making their First Holy Communion in

St. Mary’s Church, Drumragh at 12.00 noon.  All pupils have been preparing diligently for their big day, so hopefully the sun will shine and add to the enjoyment of the day.  Pupils and their families are invited back to the school afterwards for light refreshments and the opportunity for family photographs.  Exact arrangements for P.4 pupils (re. seating etc.) will be issued later in the week.

As always, our choir will join that of All Saints P.S. so we ask that as many pupils (P.5-P.7) be in attendance.

FEIS SUCCESS

Well done to all who participated in the recent West Tyrone Feis events in Omagh.  It was great to see so many pupils willing to leave their ‘comfort zone’ to get up and ‘have a go’!  Of course, it is always pleasing to be acknowledged with a prize, but the value of participation is much more important and one which should not be underestimated.  Well done to all!

SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPH ORDERS

Anyone wishing to order their child’s  photograph is asked to return their order to the school by next Tuesday, 13th May.

OMAGH GARDENING SOCIETY

Congratulations to the P.7 pupils who submitted an entry in this year’s Omagh Gardening Society’s annual show.  The entry received a Highly Commended, so well done to the pupils involved.

ST CONOR’S MILLENNIUM CUP

Unfortunately due to the wet weather conditions today, St Conor’s P.S. have cancelled the football competition due to be held today.  It is now postponed to another date which has yet to be arranged.
