ENVIRONMENTAL YOUTHSPEAK

Good luck to our P.7 pupils Corey Armstrong and Kerry Devine, who have been chosen to participate in the Omagh District Council’s Environmental Youthspeak tomorrow morning in the Strule Arts Centre.  Their topic is ‘If I Was Principal Of My School, This Is How I Would Cut Down Waste’, so doubtless there should be plenty of good advice floating around!!

FIRST CONFESSION

Thursday is a big day for our P.4 pupils as they will make their First Confession.  The Sacrament will be celebrated in St. Mary’s Drumragh at 7.00pm when we will join pupils from All Saint’s P.S.   All pupils are asked to wear their school uniform.  We offer our thoughts and prayers to all our P.4 pupils at this time.

FR. MCDEVITT

Also on Thursday night the parish is holding a presentation night for Fr. McDevitt in St. Joseph’s Hall.  All schools have been asked to put on a short presentation to mark Fr. McDevitt’s contribution to parish life here in Drumragh.  A number of our more senior pupils will be asked to help us out, so hopefully will be able to attend and mark Fr. McDevitt’s contribution to our school both as a governor and as our school chaplain.

MCCRORY CUP FINAL

Omagh C.B.S. have reached the final of the McCrory Cup Final next Monday and 3 of our past pupils are directly involved in their bid for glory.  James Darcy, Eoghan Murray and Sean McGale all wore our own school football jersey with distinction not so long ago and can hopefully ‘do the business’ next Monday and bring the McCrory Cup back to Omagh.  Good luck lads!!

SCHOOL CLOSURE

The school will be closed next week from Monday to Wednesday.  School re-opens at the usual time on Thursday, 20th March.
