Monday, 3rd June 2013 Weekly Note
GAELIC TOURNAMENTS
Good luck to our boys who participate in two tournaments this week. This morning they travel to St. Conor’s to participate in the Millennium Cup while on Friday they travel to Beragh to defend the Paddy Bogan Cup. Doubtless they will represent us well. The girls meanwhile put in a great performance last Thursday at the Allianz Cumann na mBunscoil blitz. They were beaten in the semi-final after extra-time by Gaelscoil Ui Dhochartaigh, Strabane in a match which could have gone either way.
SCHOOL SPORTS
The weather forecast for the week appears to be favourable, so we are planning to hold our sports day on Thursday (6th June). Mrs Breen and Mrs Mellon’s classes will begin around 10.00am with P.4-P.7 pupils beginning their events at 12.00pm approximately. Children need not wear their school uniform on Thursday but should wear appropriate sporting attire.
P.1-P.3 TRIP
Pupils in Mrs Breen’s and Mrs Mellon’s classes are off to Irvinestown next Monday on their school trip, where they will have a session of bowling and indoor soft play. Further details will be issued during the week.
