FIONA ARMSTRONG MEMORIAL SHIELD

Good luck to all our footballers who participate in the final blitz of the year at Tattyreagh G.A.C.  Hopefully by the time you read this note, we will have good news to report in the shape of the Fiona Armstrong Memorial Shield!!

NO FOOTBALL ON WEDNESDAY

Due to our Leavers’ Mass on Wednesday afternoon, there will be no after-school football this week.  Our grateful appreciation is due to Master Kelly for all his time and effort in organising the football coaching throughout the year.

COWPAT CHALLENGE FAMILY NIGHT

A fun filled evening of family entertainment is taking place at the club on Friday, 28th June at 7pm.  Star guest ‘Molly’ the cow will enter the football pitch at 7pm to commence the cowpat challenge.  There will be a children’s disco in the clubrooms.  There will also be a Cowgirl and Cowboy fancy dress theme with prizes for the best costume.  Ice cream and hot food will also be available on the night.  Please come along and support this event which is to raise funds for our local play park.

DINNER MONEY

We ask that any outstanding dinner money is paid by Wednesday.  All cheques for dinner money only should be made payable to WELB.

SCHOOL REPORTS

All end of year reports will be issued tomorrow (Tues) when a detailed summary of your child’s progress this year will be in your child’s schoolbag.

END OF YEAR/LEAVERS’ MASS

The annual End of Year/Leavers’ Mass will be celebrated in the school on Wednesday afternoon at 1.30pm.  All are warmly invited along.

PRIZE WINNERS

All individual prize-winners at last week’s Prize-Giving night are asked to bring in their trophies on Wednesday as photographs for the local press will be taken.  (Athletes of the Year, Super Spell, Individual Awards in P.4 & P.7)

Just a little reminder that these trophies be returned to the school in September, where they will be put on display in our trophy cabinet with the winner’s name nearby.

SCHOOL HOLIDAYS

The long awaited school holidays commence this Friday (28th June) at 12.00pm.

Please note that there will be no dinners available on this day.

We trust all our pupils and their families have a lovely summer holiday and we look forward to your safe return to school on Monday, 2nd September 2013.  To our departing P.7 pupils, we wish you every success in your new schools and trust you will carry forward many happy memories of your days in Sacred Heart P.S. for the rest of your life.  Good luck!!
